Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioners, as illegal and arbitrary.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents - police not to interfere with the civil disputes, which are pending between the parties.

Learned Government Pleader submits that a case in Crime No.303 of 2017 of Raidurgam Police Station, Cyberabad, came to be registered against the third petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 447 and 427 of IPC and as such the allegation of interference by the police in civil disputes is improper.

Having regard to the statements made across the Bar, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents-police not to interfere with the personal life and liberty of the petitioners or any civil disputes pending between the parties, except in accordance with law. However, the said order shall not preclude the respondents-police to investigate the above crime registered against the petitioner, by following due process of law. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
