This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 5 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in F.I.R.No.90 of 2013 on the file of the Central Crime Station Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406 I.P.C. and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, which is the outcome of report of respondent No.2 - de facto complainant, who is no other than wife of petitioner No.1/accused No.1, daughter-in-law of petitioner Nos.2 and 3/accused Nos.2 and 3, and sister-in-law of petitioner Nos.4 and 5/accused Nos.4 and 5.

Pending disposal of the Criminal Petition, respondent No.2 - de facto complainant and the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 5 are present and filed a joint memo in Crl.P.M.P.No.9146 of 2015 with a memorandum of compromise and affidavit of de facto complainant stating that they have settled the mater out of Court at the intervention of elders and thereby, sought for permission to compound the offences.

4. Having regard to the above, though the offences under Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act are not compoundable under Section 320 Cr.P.C, to sub-serve the ends of justice by invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C, permission is accorded.
Accordingly, Crl.P.M.P.No.9146 of 2015 is ordered and the offences supra, are compounded.
5. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to F.I.R.No.90 of 2013 on the file of the Central
Crime Station Police Station, Hyderabad, are quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 5, if any, shall stand cancelled.
6. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
