HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT Writ Petition No.24860 of 2016 ORDER:
Vide present writ petition, the petitioner seeks writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in proposing to pay compensation in respect of lands in Sy.No.142 to an extent of Ac.3.00 guntas situated at Uppugallu Village, Zaffargadh Mandal, Warangal District, to the 6th respondent pursuant to the Notification dated 31.03.2016, as illegal.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the aforesaid relief, the petitioner made representations dated 27.06.2016 and 28.06.2016 to the respondents 3 and 4. However, till date, no decision is communicated to the petitioner.
3. Keeping in view of the averments made in the said representations and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the aforesaid respondents are directed to decide the representations made by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The decision taken thereon shall be communicated to the petitioner in writing within one week thereafter. Needless to state that, if the petitioner is still aggrieved by the action or inaction of the respondents, he can approach the appropriate forum. Further, I hereby made it clear that till the decision is taken and communicated to the petitioner, the sale proceeds in respect of the land in Sy.No.142 in an extent of Ac.3.00 guntas situated at Uppugallu Village, Zaffargadh Mandal, Warangal District, shall not be paid either to the 6th respondent or to any one.
4. In view of the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
