THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No. 487 OF 2018 O R D E R :

The petitioners had filed Writ Petition No. 30599 of 2017 alleging that the complaint dated 17.07.2017 lodged by them against Respondents 6 and 7, who had been interfering with their agricultural operations, was not attended to. While disposing of the said Writ Petition on 11.09.2017, this Court gave liberty to the petitioners to despatch the complaint dated 17.07.2017 through registered post and directed the Station House Officer, Dagadarthi Police Station to take necessary steps thereon to redress the grievance of the petitioners.

Now, this Contempt Case has been filed complaining disobedience of the order dated 11.09.2017 in the Writ Petition. Today, when the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the complaint of their clients has been received and Crime No. 28 of 2018 on the file of Dagadarthi Police Station has been registered on 13.03.2018.

Since a crime has already been registered, the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed. Hence, recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Contempt Case is closed.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
