This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in Cr.No.500 of 2012, against the petitioner, who is A2, on the file of the Station House Officer, Panjagutta Police Station, Hyderabad.

The offence alleged is under Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Panjagutta Police Station, Hyderabad City dated 01.11.2018 stating that the case ended in acquittal on 26.11.2015 vide SC.No.81 of 2015.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J November 30, 2018 DSK
