Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents.

This writ petition is filed alleging that even though cognizable offence was reported on 03.03.2019 sent through registered post with acknowledgement due on 04.03.2019, as the complaint was lodged on 03.03.2019 through registered post, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition at this stage.

On detail consideration on the issue of availing alternative remedy, whenever, there is delay in registration of crime, this Court in W.P.No.38397 of 2018 & batch dated 08.03.2019 held that writ petitions are not maintainable and liberty was granted to petitioners therein to avail appropriate remedy as available in law.

Following the said decision, this Writ Petition is also dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies on the allegation of non registration of crime. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. __________________ P.NAVEEN RAO,J 1st April, 2019 Rds
