..... Respondents The Court made the following:

ORDER:

In W.P.No.6277 of 2019, on detailed consideration of the issue of suspension of student on the allegation of indulging in ragging of 1st year B.Tech., student, and having regard to the provisions of the Telangana Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1997, and the decisions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the Court dismissed the said Writ Petition upholding the decision to suspend. In the instant case also, the complainant is the same student, who gave complaint against this petitioner, and petitioner in W.P.No.6277 of 2019. The complainant's father also gave complaint to the Police, and the Police are investigating into the crime. On prima facie verification of the incident, and by looking into the CCTV footage, the competent authority came to conclusion that petitioner was involved in ragging of 1st Year B.Tech., student. Therefore, I see no error in the decision taken by the competent authority in suspending the student, warranting interference by this Court. Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
