THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.AMARNATH GOUD WRI T PETI TI ON NOS.6505, 6506, 6507 and 6603 of 2019 COMMON ORDER: (per SK,J) The petitioners in this batch of cases completed M.B.B.S. Course in the colleges situated in the present State of Telangana. All of them hail from the State of Andhra Pradesh and belong to reservation categories. The cause for their approaching this Court was that they were not being considered for admission to Post Graduate Medical Courses in the State of Telangana under reservation quota as their community certificates were yet to be accepted.

2.

By common interim order dated 28.03.2019 passed in these writ petitions, this Court took note of the fact that the castes to which all the petitioners belong were included in the fresh list of reservation categories issued by the State of Telangana after bifurcation of the erstwhile State of Andhra Pradesh and directed the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, to verify whether the castes to which the petitioners belong were included in the Government Orders issued after bifurcation and also the genuineness of the community certificates. In the event they were found to be genuine and the castes were included in the new list, this Court directed that the petitioners should be given the benefit of reservation.

3.

Ms.K.Pallavi, learned counsel for the petitioners, would inform this Court that pursuant to the aforestated interim order, the cases of all the petitioners were duly considered and they were given admission in Post Graduate Medical Courses under reservation categories.

4.

Mr.G.Ravi, learned counsel representing Mr.A.Prabhakar Rao, learned standing counsel for the University, would also concede that the cause in these writ petitions no longer survives for consideration on merits.

5.

In the light of the aforestated facts, the writ petitions are closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
