SHANKAR NARAYANA APPEAL SUIT No. 2071 of 2004 JUDGMENT: (Per VRS,J) This appeal filed by the State questioning the enhancement of compensation granted by the reference Court under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894, appears to have been settled before the Lok Adalat held at Kadapa The reason as to why the matter was referred to Lok Adalat was that the enhancement of compensation granted by the reference Court was less than 80% and, hence, the case was covered by G.O.Rt.No.101, dated 20.02.2006. This fact has also been recorded in the proceedings dated 08.02.2007 before this Bench. Therefore, this Appeal Suit is dismissed.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the appeal suit shall stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
