HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 18853 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner was appointed as Constable in the year 1999 and was working as such in Jagityala Depot. Earlier he worked in various places. His wife is working as School Assistant in Narsampet, Warangal. The Government of Telangana issued G.O.Ms.No.182, dated 21.05.2016 framing guidelines for transfer of spouses of Government employees working in different places. The petitioner earlier submitted a representation on 01.06.2016 followed by another representation on 13.06.2016 seeking his transfer from Jagityal Depot of Karimnagar Zone to any depot of Warangal Region and when

the said representations are not considered and disposed of, the present Writ Petition is filed.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that G.O.Ms.No.182, dated 21.05.2016 is applicable only to the State Government employees whose spouses are working in different Undertakings/Corporations. In the instant case, the petitioner is working in a corporation and G.O.Ms.No. 182, dated 21.05.2016 is not applicable to the employees working in the respondentsCorporation. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents may be directed to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of the representations submitted by him.

In the circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the issue, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner on 01.06.2016 and 13.06.2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
