When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appears for the petitioners. However, learned counsel for the respondents submits that in view of subsequent orders issued by the Government, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition and the matter has become infructuous.

2. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

3. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
