THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 8068 of 2017 ORDER :

The present criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to the XI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate to conduct trial in C.C.No.348 of 2015 within one month. 2.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner mainly submits that the petitioner belongs to the State of Himachal Pradesh and it would be difficult for him to come over to Hyderabad and appear before the trial Court on every date of adjournment. Hence, seeks a direction to the trial Court to conduct trial, within a period of one month.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial Court may be directed to complete the trial, at the earliest. 4.

Having regard to the above, the criminal petition is disposed of directing the trial Court to complete the trial in C.C.No.348 of 2015 on the file of XI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate and dispose of the case, as expeditiously as possible.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
