THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.1562 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioner-accused under Section Cr.P.C.

to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.541 of 2016 on the file of the IV Special Magistrate, Visakhapatnam, wherein cognizance was taken for the offence punishable under Section 138 r/w 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Petition and to that effect, he submitted a letter, dated 21.02.2018, before the Registry.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this petition shall stand closed.
