Today when the matter has been taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ petition (TR), the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and the cause in the writ petition (TR) does not survive for further adjudication and the learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents has fairly acceded to the same.

Recording the submissions made by learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition (TR) is closed. 3.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
