The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and the order of the High Court dated 08-06-2020 made herein and upon hearing the arguments of Sri M.V.Hanumantha Rao, Advocate for the Petitioner and Public Prosecutor, for the Respondent, the Court made the following ORDER:
The present application is filed seeking reduction of the surety amount from Rs.1,00,000/- to Rs.20,000/- and also sought extension of time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the concerned S.H.O. Heard both sides.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court after considering the gravity of the offence, imposed the said surety amount as such there are no grounds to reduce the surety amount. However, the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the S.H.O. concerned, is hereby extended by two weeks from today. lt is made clear that no further extensions will be granted. Accordingly, the LA. is ordered.
