The petitioner society approached this Court aggrieved by the action of the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, Rajendranagar, Ranga Reddy District, in rejecting its application for sending the second sample to an independent laboratory, under proceedings dated 12.10.2012.

By interim order dated 19.10.2012, this Court directed the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class-cum-XII Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, to send the sample to the Forensic Science Laboratory, Red Hills, Hyderabad.

In view of the afore-stated interim order, the grievance of the petitioner stood redressed and no further adjudication is required. The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
