This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner-accused No.2 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.144 of 2017, pending on the file of Women Police Station, Saroornagar, Rachakonda, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offences under Section 498-A I.P.C and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/accused No.2, the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent-State and perused the record.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that charge sheet is filed in this case on 19.07.2017 before the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate at L.B. Nagar. In this Criminal Petition it is prayed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.144 of 2017, pending on the file of Women Police Station, Saroornagar, Rachakonda, Ranga Reddy District. Since the charge sheet is filed nothing survies to be adjudicated in this Criminal Petition. However, liberty is given to the petitioner/accused No.2 to take appropriate legal recourse. With this observation, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
