This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in Cr.No.332 of 2011, against the petitioners, who are A1 to A8, on the file of the Station House Officer, Women Police Station, South Zone, Charminar, Hyderabad. The offences alleged are under Sections 498A and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, South Zone, Hyderabad City dated 21.09.2013 stating that the case has been closed as 'Action Drop', as both parties compromised and a final report is submitted before XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad dated 03.09.2013.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J September 14, 2018 DSK
