HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.6738 of 2019 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under:- 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not restoring the name of the petitioner in the Revenue Records including the web-land and not issuing new pattadar pass book and title deed in respect of the land admeasuring Acs.5.00 guntas in Sy.No.49/1A situated at Kankole Village, Munipally Mandal, Sanga Reddy District, in spite of report of the 5th respondent dated 06.03.2012 and representation of the petitioner dt 06.03.

2018 as illegal, arbitrary and against the provisions of Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act and also against the settled principles of law and consequently direct the respondents to restore the name of the petitioner in all revenue records including the web-land and to issue the action of the respondents in not restoring the name of the petitioner in the Revenue Records and not issuing pattadar passbooks and title deeds in favour of the petitioner in respect of the above said land and to pass such other order or orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner was issued a regular pattadar pass book under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. His representation dated 06.3.2018 in this regard was duly received by the Tahsildar concerned. Having received such a representation, it is not open to the authority concerned to remain somnolent.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Munipally Mandal, Sanga Reddy District, to take

SK, J WP.No.6738 of 2019 Dt:01.4.2019 appropriate action upon the petitioner's representation dated 06.3.2018 in accordance with law expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
