THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM W.P.No.6751 of 2019
ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Endowments for respondents 1 and 2 and Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.3.
2.
This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not extending the tenure of the petitioner Trust Board, as illegal and arbitrary.
3.
The petitioner asserts that the Trust Board of the temple was appointed after following due process for a period of one year from 01.03.2018 to 01.04.2019 and its term is about to expire by 01.04.2019 and that the respondents have not appointed new Trust Board. Though the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 19.03.2019 to the respondents, no action has been taken thereon.
4.
There is no dispute that the Trust Board of the petitioner temple was appointed for a period of one year from 01.03.2018 to 01.04.2019 and its term would expire by 01.04.2019, which would result in the administrative affairs of the Trust Board. 5.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances and since the representation of the petitioner is pending before the 1st respondent, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the 1st
CKR, J W.P.No.6751 of 2019 respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and till such time or new Trust Board is appointed, the existing Trust Board shall be continued. No order as to costs. 6.
