Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents 1 and 2. 2.

Petitioner is a candidate contesting to the election of Member of Parliament from Secunderabad Constituency. This writ petition is filed alleging that even though a request is made to the Police Commissioner, Director General of Police and the Returning Officer of Election Commission of India to provide security as he has threat from his enemies, the security is not provided.

When the matter is taken up learned Special Government Pleader produced copy of the proceedings dated 02.04.2019 of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, East Zone, Hyderabad, addressed to the petitioner rejecting his request to provide security.

Since a decision is already made rejecting the request of petitioner, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. 5.

Thus, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies as available in law, aggrieved by the decision of rejecting the request for providing protection, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
