This Criminal Petition is fi1ed under Section 4g2 of Cr.p.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in CC No.4317 ol 2OlT on the file of the X Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad, wherein the petitioner is arrayed as A.2.
Today, the matter is listed under the caption ,infructuous matters' and when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, based on the e-courts case status report, would submit that after full-fledged trial, the matter has resulted in acquittal of the accused by order dated 09.01.2020 of the XI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad and as such, the present quash petition filed does not require further consideration by this court.
Having regard to the submissions made as above, no further orders need be passed in the present criminal petition. Accordingly, the criminal petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a petition seeking to reopen the matter, in the event the said CC has not been disposed of by the trial Court as noted above.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
