This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of FIR No.1768 of dated 19.08.2017 on the file of Rajendranagar Police Station, Cyderabad, registered against the petitioner/Accused No.1 for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Sri M.Chalapathi, learned counsel for respondent No.2 is present.

Sri T.V.Ramana Rao, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1/State has submitted a copy of letter dated 16.12.2022 addressed by the Inspector of Police, Rangendranagar Police Station, Cyderabad, wherein it is mentioned that the investigation is completed and the case has been referred as False vide No.555/PER/ACPRJNR/Cyd/2022 dated 29.02.2020.

Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that since no cause of action survives to proceed with the case and thereby this Criminal Petition has become infructuous and is liable to be dismissed. 06.
Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
