W.P.No.24505 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard.

Alleging inaction of the 3rd respondent in issuing pattadar passbooks and title deeds, the present writ petition is filed. It is evident from the application of the petitioner, dated 03-07-2015 that the pattadar passbooks are sought by the petitioner as a legal heir of her deceased husband. However, the said application is required to be made under the prescribed proforma under Form 6-A and only thereafter, the 3rd respondent can consider the same in accordance with the provisions of the A.P.Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 and pass appropriate orders. Hence, no direction as sought for can be given in the present writ petition, as the petitioner's application is not in accordance with the prescribed proforma and it is not in accordance with the Rules prescribed under the A.P.

Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977. The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to make appropriate application in the prescribed proforma under Form 6-A together with payment of requisite fee as per Rules 17 and 18 of the Rules framed under the A.P.Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977. If any such application is made, the 3rd respondent shall consider the same on merits and pass appropriate orders expeditiously. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
