Sri G.Tuhin Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that since the charges levelled against the petitioner were subsequently dropped and she was promoted as Principal, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and that the writ petition has become infructuous.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
