HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.17783 of 2003 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondents in not engaging petitioners' services/duties as per proceedings No.E1/255(35)/2003-RM:KMM dated 27.06.2003 as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law and against the principles of natural justice.
2. This Court granted interim order in W.P.M.P.No.22168 of 2003 dated 26.08.2003 directing the Corporation to engage the services of petitioners subject to availability of the work, in case juniors to petitioners were engaged in service in the same category.
3. Learned Standing Counsel for APSRTC submitted that all these petitioners were regularized and there are no daily wage drivers as on today, therefore, the relief in the writ petition has become infructuous.
4. Recording the submission of learned Standing Counsel for APSRTC that petitioners were regularized as drivers and that there are no more daily wage workers, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
5. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
