THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO W.P.No.34394 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents-SPDCL. 2.

In this Writ Petition, the petitioners have questioned the action of the respondents in disconnecting electricity service connection to the petitioners having consumer Nos.3111147000454, 3111147000436, 3111147000437, 3111147000228, 3111147000602 and 3111147000050 without any prior notice.

The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents states that there are arrears of Rs.12.75 lakhs towards dues payable by the petitioners and that was why the disconnection was done. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners would be able to pay the arrears in instalments, if certain directions are given to the respondents to permit the petitioners to pay the dues in instalments.

Having regard to the said submission, Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to submit a representation to 3rd respondent within a week from today seeking instalments for payment of the arrears of electricity consumption charges to the respondents. The 3rd respondent shall pass orders thereon within two weeks from the date of receipt of the representation from the petitioners and communicate his decision to the petitioners.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No

costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
