THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.13952 of 2007 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: "to issue writ, order or directions more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not sanctioning the monetary benefit to the petitioner in pursuance of the guidelines framed in G.O.Ms.No.3 dated 16.1.1996 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and to consequently direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for sanction of the monetary relief on account of the death of minor daughter."

When the matter is called, a letter bearing No.C1/2591/2006, dated 26-11-2008 addressed by the office of the District Collector, Nalgonda to the office of the Government Pleader for Social Welfare, Hyderabad is placed on record by the learned Government Pleader. It shows that vide office proceedings No.C4/2591/2006, dated 28-03-2006 an amount of Rs.6250/- was sanctioned and paid to Sri Remidala Saidulu - petitioner herein, father of the victim towards exgratia and further an amount of Rs.1,43,250/- was sanctioned and paid to the petitioner towards exgratia vide proceedings No.C4/2591/2006, dated 13-08-2007.

In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
