HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION NO.5892 OF 2018 ORDER: (per Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The petitioner has an effective alternative remedy of a statutory appeal under Section 6 of the A.P. Entry of Goods into Local Areas Act, 2001 read with Section 31 of the A.P. VAT Act, without exhausting which he has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court. As the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy of an appeal, we see no reason to entertain this Writ Petition.

Leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the statutory remedy of an appeal, the Writ Petition fails and is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
