THE HONOURABLE SMT. WSTICE K. SUJANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.2932 of 2o24 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking quash of the order dated 07.1O.2O23 passed 1n Cr1.M.P.No.3914 of 2023 in C.C.No.414 of 2Ol7 on the file ot the learned XII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed Crl.M.P.No.3914 of 2023 in C.C.No.414 of 2OL7 on the file of the learned XII Additional Chief t Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, wherein the trial Court, while allowing the petition filed seeking a direction to the Regional Passport Authority to handover his renewal passport to him, has imposed a condition of furnishing a personal bond of Rs.2,0O,O00/- with one sr-rreQr with an undertaking that he shall file an acknowledgment before the trial Court regarding receipt of his renewed passport and further the petitioner shall give an undertaking that he shall not leave the country without permission of trial Court.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that the execution of personal bond is not necessary for renewal of passport. In view of the s€une, the imposition of personal bond of Rs. Rs.2,00,OOO/_ with remaining conditions a-re removed and the trial court is directed to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible, as the matter pertains to the year 2017.

Accordingly, the Criminal petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall also stand closed.
