This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"to issue writ of Mandamus to declare the inaction on the part of the respondents No.1 and 2 in not investigating into Crime No.172 of 2009 dated 18.7.2009 on the file of 2nd respondent under Section 498-A and 34 IPC against the respondent No.3 to 5 though the said Crime was registered on 18.7.2009 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondent herein to investigate into the Crime No.172 of 2009 dated 18.7.2009 on the file of the 2nd respondent and to arrest the respondents No.3 to 5 herein as per law." Today, when the matter is called, it is represented by the learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, that police already filed charge sheet and the case is numbered as C.C.No.29 of 2010. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
