THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.6897 of 2019 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Bonakal Mandal, Khammam District, is not acting upon the application dated 28.05.2018 made by him for issuance of a pattadar pass book and title deed in relation to his land admeasuring Ac.1.21 guntas in Survey No.60/A and Ac.1.24 guntas in Survey No.61/A, totally admeasuring Acs.3.05 guntas, situated at Bonakal Village and Mandal, Khammam District. Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner submitted the aforestated application in Form VI(A) along with the requisite fee as per the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, for the purpose of availing the benefit of 'Rythu Bandhu' scheme floated by the Government of Telangana. The petitioner's application dated 28.05.2018 made in this regard was also received by the District Collector, Khammam District, on the very same day and he endorsed thereon that the Tahsildar, Bonakal Mandal, should look into this issue and take necessary action. In spite of the same, the Tahsildar remained unmoved.

It is not open to the Tahsildar, Bonakal Mandal, Khammam District, to sleep over such an application after receiving it. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Bonakal Mandal, Khammam District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's application dated 28.05.2018 expeditiously and in any event,

not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
