THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.31663 of 2016 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader.
The prayer in the writ petition is as under:
"The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondent No.2 in issuing the proceedings vide Cr.No.E4/599/2016 under the caption 'Cancellation of License'
dated 09.08.2016 received by the petitioner on 22.08.2016 as arbitrary, illegal and against the principles of natural justice and judicial precedents; and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice."
When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the impugned proceedings dated 9.8.2016 are withdrawn by the respondents and, as such, no further cause would survive.
Taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is closed.
