Pulamathi Chandrappa , Chandrasekhar And 2 Others v. The State Of Telangana

SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.2081 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, who are A3 to A5, in Crime No.06 of 2018 on the file of Lepakshi Police Station, Ananthapuramu District. The offences alleged are under Sections 366, 376, 343, 323, 313, 420, 506 r/w 34 IPC.

Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The allegations are that the defacto complainant married one Anand and she conceived and these petitioners, who are the parents of said Anand and relative of said Anand, tried to abort her pregnancy and they administered some juice to her in that regard.

Hence, the nature of allegations, does not entitle the petitioners for grant of anticipatory bail, as the names of these petitioners were specifically mentioned in the report. 5.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

However, the petitioners are at liberty to file a petition seeking for regular bail by surrendering himself before the court below having the jurisdiction. The court below shall dispose of the bail application on merits, if any filed, expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to the pressure of other work.
