This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned order in appeal No.HYD/28/2004, dated 02-02-2006 under the provisions of Urban Land Ceiling Act (for short "the Act").

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue produced latest written instructions dated 15-07-2017 stating that though the orders were issued on 30-03-2007 and draft orders were prepared under Section 10(6) of the Act and the matter was posted for further stages. It is not stated that the possession of the subject lands was taken from the petitioners and before the Act was repealed on 27-03-2008. In the counter also, there is no assertion that the possession of the subject lands was taken. Once, the possession is not taken and the Repealed Act has come into force on 27-03-2008, all the proceedings under the provisions of Urban Land Ceiling Act get abated.

Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed holding all the proceedings under the Act get abated in view of repealed Act. As a sequel to the disposal of this writ petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J 24-07-2017 Nvl
