THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND THE HON'BLE MRS JUSTICE ANIS WRIT PETITION No.24627 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice V. Ramasubramanian) The petitioners came up with the above writ petition, challenging the action of the university in disaffiliating one undergraduate course in B.Tech-EIE and one postgraduate course in M.Tech-CSE, for the current academic year. After ordering notice to the respondents and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the learned counsel appearing for the university, we have passed an interim order in this case on 28.07.2016 directing the university to include the petitionerinstitutions only for B.Tech-EIE course for the current academic year subject to the condition that the remaining equipments in the analytical instrumentation lab are also put in place and the university makes an inspection immediately after counseling, to verify this aspect..

Pursuant to the interim order, the university has granted affiliation to B.Tech-EIE course.

The prayer for grant of affiliation for one postgraduate course in M.Tech-CSE course cannot now be considered in view of efflux of time. It is open to the petitioners to rectify the defects pointed out in advance to enable the university to process the application for the next academic year well in advance so that no

party is put to prejudice.

With the above observations the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
