HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO Writ Petition No.25469 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard Sri K. Rama Subba Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri P. Sriharinath, learned standing counsel for the 1st respondent.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner that respondents 2 and 3, who are juniors to the petitioner, were promoted to the post of Accounts Superintendent, but the petitioner was not promoted to the said post in spite of his several representations to the 1st respondent and he is going to retire from service by the end of next month. The petitioner submitted another representation dated 22.01.2015 to the 1st respondent seeking promotion to the post of the Assistant Accounts Officer with effect from 07.08.2013 on par with his junior and the same is pending before the 1st respondent.

3. Under these circumstances, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 22.01.2015 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders regarding promotion of the petitioner, subject to his eligibility and in accordance with Rules, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
