HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Revision Case No.1839 of 2015 ORDER:

This revision is filed against the judgment, dated 13-04-2014 passed by the I Additional Sessions Judge, Chittoor, in Crl. M.P.No.304 of 2015 in C.A.No.95 of 2015, which was filed against the order dated 23-03-2015 passed in C.C.No.151 of 2013 by the Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Excise, Chittoor, whereby the lower appellate Court directed the petitioner herein to deposit 50% of the compensation amount awarded by the trial Court. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and having perused the material available on record, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed of as follows : The impugned order passed by the lower appellate Court to the extent of directing the petitioner herein to deposit 50% of the compensation amount is hereby stayed. The lower appellate court is directed to proceed with the matter and pass appropriate orders. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this revision are closed.
