Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home.

In this writ petition, petitioner is aggrieved by inaction in registering the crime reported by him, though the crime reported by her is cognizable.

On elaborate consideration of the issue and having regard to the law laid down by the Supreme Court and view expressed by other High Courts in the judgment dated 08.03.2019 in W.P.No.38397 of 2018 and batch, this Court held that petitioner has to avail statutorily engrafted remedies available to her on issue of non registration of crime and she cannot directly invoke the jurisdiction of this Court without availing statutorily engrafted remedies.

Having regard to the view taken by this Court in W.P.Nos.38397 of 2018 and batch, dated 08.03.2019, this writ petition is also not maintainable and same is accordingly dismissed. It is made clear that there is no opinion expressed on the content of complaint made. Petitioner is at liberty to avail statutory remedies ventilating her grievances against non-registration of crime. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
