THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.12995 of 2011 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the police authorities were not taking appropriate action in Crime No.131 of 2010 on the file of the Malkajgiri Police Station. The Sub Inspector of Police, Malkajgiri Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, addressed written instructions dated 17.06.2015 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that one Smt. Chinthala Vasanta, sister of Smt. Madhavi, who died by hanging, approached the Malkajgiri Police Station and lodged a complaint in relation thereto. Thereupon, Crime No.131 of 2010 was registered and investigation was taken up. The complainant and other witnesses were examined. However, the Doctors, who conducted an autopsy over the dead body of the complainant's sister opined that her death was due to hanging.

Further, investigation revealed that the deceased had committed suicide and there were no suspicious circumstances indicating any foul play in her death. The final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C., was filed before the learned II Class Executive Magistrate, Ranga Reddy District, in this regard. The report indicate that the deceased had committed suicide owing to depression as her parents did not accept her love marriage and also due to financial problems. The petitioner before this Court is the father of the deceased. In the light of the aforestated circumstances, no cause survives for consideration in this writ petition. In the event the complainant or the petitioner are aggrieved by the conclusion arrived at by the police authorities, it is for them to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

Reserving liberty to them to do so, the writ petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
