ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 6th respondent-Grampanchayat in excavating the sand from the ramp of Sompalle Village without having any permission or order from the competent authority and contrary to their own resolution dated 14.02.2019 and selling the sand to the third parties contrary to the object of the Government scheme that the sand can be utilized for village development works with the permission, as illegal and arbitrary.

Petitioner, who is working as a Tailor, seeks to protect the government revenue. His grievance is that the 6th respondentGrampanchayat is quarrying the sand without any permission. 3.

Perusal of the averments in the writ petition does not disclose as to how the petitioner has any personal grievance in the subject matter as he is only claiming through the affected party. However, he seeks to protect the public revenue. The writ petition of this nature can only be filed as public interest litigation. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to question the action of the respondents by filing public interest litigation, if so advised, in accordance with the norms prescribed therein. No order as to costs.
