HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY Writ Petition No.7066 of 2020 ORDER:

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the lis in this writ petition is squarely covered by the orders of this Court in WP No.5278 of 2020 dated 28.04.2020 and same is not disputed by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents.

In view of the same and for the reasons alike in the order dated 28.04.2020, this writ petition is disposed of directing petitioner to appear before the concerned Traffic Police authority, who has detained the subject vehicle along with proof of the identity and relevant documents of the vehicle in question. Upon the petitioner approaching the concerned authority or other official, who has the safe custody of the vehicle in question and making an application for release of the vehicle together with relevant documents, the said authority shall consider the same and release the vehicle to the owner forthwith by collecting fine as prescribed under the M.V. Act for non-production of documents, other violations and also if such vehicle is not involved in any other case. It is also made clear that if there any pending challans against the above vehicle, the same shall also be cleared by the petitioner, before seeking release of the vehicle.

There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. Let a copy of the order in WP No.5278 of 2020, dated 28.04.2020 be annexed with this order.
