ORDER

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners challenging the action of respondents 2 and 3 in harassing them by calling to the Police Station and wrongfully detaining them without following due process of law.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, based on written instructions, submits that one Padma Sree, w/o D.Nanda Kishore, filed M.C.No.189 of 2015 on the file of the Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge for trial-cumAdditional Family Court, Hyderabad and warrant was issued against D.Nanda Kishore on 26.11.2016, directing the 4th respondent to execute warrant against the said D.Nanda Kishore and produce him before the Court. But his whereabouts are not known till today. In order to ascertain his whereabouts, the police visited the house of the petitioners and enquired them. He further submits that no case was registered against the petitioners and they are not required in any other case. The allegation with regard to summoning the petitioners to the police station and detaining them in the police station is denied.

In view of the denial made by the respondents, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondents 3 and 4 not to harass the petitioners under the guise of executing warrant against D.Nanda Kumar. However, it is open to the respondent-police to take necessary steps, in accordance with law, for apprehending said D.Nanda Kumar. No costs.
