The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or Direction more particularly a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondents No.3 and 4 in conducting the survey in respect of the land in Sy.No.181 situated at Chirrakunta Village, Asifabad Mandal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad (Earlier Adilabad) District pursuant to the application dated 18.02.2019 of the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct respondents No.3 and 4 to conduct the survey the land in Sy.No.181 and fix the boundaries situated at Chirrakunta Village, Asifabad Mandal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad (Earlier Adilabad) District, and pleased to pass such order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice.'

Perusal of the record reflects that an application in the prescribed format by way of a F-line petition along with the requisite fee was submitted by the petitioner on 18.02.2019 for the purpose of undertaking a survey and fixing of boundaries in the subject land. Having received such an application, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Asifabad Mandal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad (Earlier Adilabad) District, to remain inactive.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Asifabad Mandal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad (Earlier Adilabad) District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's F-line petition dated 18.02.2019 expeditiously and in any event, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
