HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 900 of 2017 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition being heard at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in not disposing of the R.P.No.7 of 2012, as illegal and arbitrary; and consequently direct the second respondent to dispose of the revision.

3) The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that though the revision was filed in the year 2012 till date no orders passed in the revision.

4) The Government Pleader for Revenue submits that a direction may be issued for an early disposal of the revision. 5) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the arguments advanced, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to dispose of R.P.No.7 of 2012, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight (08) to twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs.

6) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
