HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 9340 of 2017 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A1 to A3, A6 & A8 to A-104 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.130 of 2017 of Chennur Police Station, Mancherial District, which was registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 447, 427, 379 & 506 r/w 149 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 23.4.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Chennur Police Station, Adilabad District and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 28.2.2018 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.130 of 2017 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 4.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
