The ground of territorial jurisdiction, as urged by the petitioner, does not continue to exist in view of the amendment made to the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, by the introduction of Section 148. 3.

Hence, this Transfer Criminal Petition has become groundless and the same is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
