HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. V. BHASKAR REDDY CONTEMPT CASE No.1531 of 2016 ORDER:

The Contempt Case has been filed for violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P. No.7173 of 2014 dated 11.03.2014.

By the aforesaid order dated 11.03.2014, this Court closed the writ petition while recording that the petitioner's apprehension of being forcibly dispossessed or his building being demolished, is misconceived. There was no order against the respondents to take any steps for compliance. The Contempt Case has been filed for alleged violation of the said order and the same is pending from the year 2016.

Today, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Further, the Contempt Case has not been admitted so far and has not

been taken cognizance under Section 17 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed.

However, liberty is given to the petitioner to file appropriate application in accordance with law if any cause survives in the Contempt Case. No order as to costs.
