HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.6937 of 2019 ORDER:
The prayer of the petitioners in this case reads as under:- "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not considering and disposing of the representation dt 16.11.2017 and application in Form VIA dt 28.03.2019 made by petitioners for effecting mutation of land to an extent of Acs.2.00 in Sy.No.41/10 of Khanamet Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, as illegal and arbitrary and to consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to forthwith effect mutation of above land in favour of petitioners by considering the representation made by petitioners on 16.11.
2017; award costs and to pass such other order or orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioners made an application in the prescribed format in Form VIA under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. The endorsement made on the said application reflects that the office of the Tahsildar, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, received the same on 28.3.2019. Having received such an application, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to remain somnolent.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioners' application in Form VIA in accordance with the due procedure expeditiously and in any event,
SK, J WP.No.6937 of 2019 Dt:02.4.2019 not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
