Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 2.
When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that after filing the writ petition, on 22.02.2018, the respondents issued a show cause notice calling upon the petitioner herein to show cause as to why the application of the petitioner should not be rejected and in response to the same, the petitioner herein submitted a representation/explanation on 05.03.2018 and the matter is pending consideration before the respondents and no orders have been passed. Eventually, it is requested by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders pursuant to the show cause notice by taking into consideration the explanation offered by the petitioner on 05.03.2018 for the said course of action.

Keeping in view the above said aspects, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.2 herein to pass appropriate orders pursuant to the show cause notice, dated 22.02.2018, by taking into account the explanation offered by the petitioner herein on 05.03.2018 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
